Register customers and give them their code

Your customers and their pets are private records of your business. To link a record with the owner’s account, the owner confirms it with a code.

Add a customer

1. Open Bookings, customers and insights and the Customers tab.
2. Tap Add customer and pet and fill in the name, the owner’s email, phone (optional) and the pet’s details.
3. Confirm you have informed the owner and recorded their consent, and tap Save customer and pet.

Give them the code

1. In the customer’s record, tap Generate / replace code.
2. Hand it over privately. The owner must sign in with the same verified email as the record and follow Link your pet with your clinic’s code.

The record changes from Awaiting owner to Linked. If you generate a new code, the old one stops working; Revoke code cancels it.

Note

Linking does not grant access to the shared medical history: the owner grants it from their Care team.
