Give your vet access (care team)

Only you, as the owner, decide which clinics can see your pet’s shared medical history. Family members and guardians do not grant clinical access.

Open My Pets, choose the pet and tap Care team. Clinics linked to this pet lists the clinics that registered your pet as a patient and that you have linked it with.

  1. Choose the clinic and tap Authorize access.
  2. Choose who: The clinic’s authorized clinical team (its current and future vets) or Selected veterinarians only (up to 10).
  3. Choose the Access duration: 30 days, 90 days or 1 year.
  4. Tick what they can do: read the published history, contribute medical records, read and download attachments, or export the history. If you like, limit the history by date.
  5. Confirm.

You and the vets get a notice of the permission. If a clinic asks you for access, the request appears on this screen and you can accept it or Decline request.

Tap Revoke access at any time. The clinic can no longer read the shared history, although it keeps its own records and any files it already downloaded. Reports it published stay in your pet’s history.

Permission activity shows everything you have authorized or revoked.
